Mrs. Ratner PDF Print E-mail

Crunch time is finally here!  As we near CST testing, our focus is going to center around our core subjects.... English language arts, math, science, and social studies.  We'll squeeze in the other subjects when we can, but our job in room 7 is to master our state standards, prepare for the CSTs, and ensure we are ready for success in sixth grade!

Homework is assigned Monday-Thursday night.  Any classwork not completed during the day will be assigned as homework as well.  Even though homework is required to be turned in daily, late homework is accepted if the student forgets to bring it or is sick.  Homework consists of a few components:

1.  Read 20 minutes, record on reading log.  Reading log is due on Friday with a parent signature.

2.  Math Practice Sheet

3.  Spelling-- due Friday

4.  CA Math Project-- due the following Monday (that way it can be worked on over the weekend)

5.  Parent Signature on Homework Planner due every Friday.
