Adam Valdivia and Zachary Lopez Design Rockets That Will Take Them To Florida! PDF Print E-mail

Students Adam Valdivia and Zachary Lopez designed,

tested, and presented a rocket experiment for the

NASA symposium to held at Kennedy Space Center,

Florida. Adam and Zachary set out to test

their hypothesis that the more fuel a rocket

has the higher the altitude it will achieve. The

students had to present their project to a team

of NASA experts in order to be selected to go

to Florida. Adam and Zachary were competing

against students from different parts of the

country, as well as different ages. While in Florida

the students will have an opportunity to take a

VIP tour of Kennedy Space Center, and be able to experience some aspects of what it is like to

be a space astronaut. Below is their presentation

that they did to the NASA experts that selected

them as the winners to go to Florida.
